  4. 1. What is FixArrow?
  5.    FixArrow is a Windows 3.0 utility, primarily for programmers, which
  6.    redisplays the cursor pointer (or "arrow") when it has been hidden
  7.    through the action of some errant program, for instance Borland's
  8.    Turbo Debugger for Windows.  If you use TDW, or any other program that
  9.    refuses to play fair within the Windows environment, you need this
  10.    program!

  13. 2. How do I install FixArrow?
  14.    Since you have (obviously) unpacked the archive containing this file,
  15.    the first step is complete.  Now, copy FIXARROW.EXE into your Windows
  16.    directory.  Then, add FIXARROW.EXE to the "run=" line in your WIN.INI
  17.    file.  The next time you start Windows, FIXARROW will be started auto-
  18.    matically.

  20. 3. How do I use FixArrow?
  21.    After noticing that your cursor has disappeared, press Ctrl-Esc to
  22.    bring up the "Switch Task" menu.  Select "FixArrow".  You should
  23.    then be able to see your cursor in the normal fashion.

  25. 4. Legalities
  26.    FixArrow is not freeware, nor is it in the public domain.  It is a
  27.    shareware program, and the entire program and documentation are
  28.    Copyright (C) 1991, Jeff Dickey, Arlington VA.  You are encouraged
  29.    to copy the package freely, including distribution by BBS, shareware
  30.    library, or other means, provided that (1) the distribution shall
  31.    consist of the original archive containing the program and this doc-
  32.    umentation file, and (2) no fee of more than five US dollars ($5)
  33.    shall be charged for the copy.

  36.    To register your copy of FixArrow, send $10 in cash, check or money

  43.    does not have the begware text in the "About FixArrow..." box.

  45.    may, however, be installed on as many machines used by that single
  46.    individual as desired, provided that no two copies may be in use
  47.    at the same time.
